STUDENTS HOUSING SESTO SAN GIOVANNI
This project involves the comprehensive redevelopment of a 1950s complex in Sesto San Giovanni, formerly used for offices and warehouses, through a contemporary, understated approach that respects the urban context. The transformation into a student residence is paired with an aesthetic, functional, and energy retrofit that restores architectural quality to the entire building. Central to the design is the role of open spaces: the garden and courtyard are reimagined as social hubs, while the roof is transformed into a shared terrace.
